So when is she going to resign then? Her website says

If there is no second resolution then I will not support the war. The consequence of voting against the Government would be that I would have to resign my position as Parliamentary Private Secretary to Patricia Hewitt.

i am calling, nay, clamouring for her not to resign, or if she has to, to delay doing so for as long as possible. the reasons i hope for this are probably obvious :-)

Well looks like Anne has a little more backbone than at least some of her colleagues. I hope that not being a Party-Political Slave any more will allow her to stay slightly closer to her manifesto commitments...
