I did a talk this afternoon mostly about withdrawing insecure access to Hermes. Surprisingly few questions...

I did the slides using Eric Meyer's S5 which seems quite fun, though it suffers from the browser compatibility farce that plagues the web. (see also...)

Yeah, that's a good way of getting your foot in the door - we're using it for some of our internal staff support stuff, and some people want to standardise on 1 departmental ticketing system (our institution did an library/computing service merge a few years ago). A badly configured remedy setup doesn't really appeal compared to the wonder that is RT...

There's full XHTML/CSS-P implementation of the Uni house style at http://www.jsss.group.cam.ac.uk/ if that's of interest which has been in use for a year or so.
