Just a quick note to say I have fixed the
dilbert_zoom and
dilbert_24 feeds (after a very long hiatus) so if you follow them there is likely to be a sudden spooge of cartoons.

dilbert-24: omit/lj-cut "text from cartoon"
Date: 2016-05-31 02:31 (UTC)More recently, after a period of publishing raw HTML code (a bug I assume) it seems to have changed to publishing both the cartoon and also many paragraphs of text which seem to be the the words from the cartoon (obtained somehow). This is a less convenient way to consume the cartoons of the past, as it takes up a lot of space (often significantly more page space that the cartoon itself).
Would it be possible to either:
(a) omit the repeat of the text from the cartoon, or
(b) at least lj-cut the text from the cartoon so it doesn't clutter people's "friends" page
Thanks in advance,
Ewen

Date: 2016-05-31 08:31 (UTC)The Dilbert site now publishes a good amount of metadata in several handy formats, and is generally a lot less annoying than when I originally set these feeds up. When I was fixing them recently I thought it might be worth using this wealth of information, but in fact it isn't :-)
